The 9 Word Email To Reactivate Those Ghost Insurance Leads

The 9 Word Email Template To Reactivate Those Ghost Insurance Leads

This might be the shortest newsletter I’ve sent you to date. And it’s fitting given the subject! But let’s jump into what this 9 word email template is all about.

How did we get here with all these ghost leads?

We’ve all fallen prey to this happening, you’ve spent a ton of time and energy generating leads, doing outreach, cold calling, or just making connections. They didn’t buy right away so you moved on. It’s the nature of the sales beast. I get it. Most of us are not agrarian by nature. We’re hunters always looking for the next kill.

But what if I told you that’s what’s hurting your business more than not getting new leads. The leads you’re leaving out there to languish because not right now sounds a lot like no.

Hell I would bet good money that every single agency owner reading this has a database of leads that have gone cold, and they just don’t know what to do to reactivate them.

Every business I’ve ever worked with had the same issue. No lead follow-up or long term nurture. After the lead goes dark. More often than not a lead just stops responding, not even because of anything you’ve said or done.

Today we’re not going to focus on that long-term nurture. I’ve been teaching you that crap for 16 months and 69 issues! Today we’re going to learn how to reactivate a cold/dead lead with a simple 9 word email template.

The 9 word email template to the rescue

I know what you’re thinking, 9 words? That’s it to reactivate a cold lead? No way. But I will tell you I guarantee this will work, or I’ll refund your subscription cost.

I’ve used this 9 word email template selling saas, my handwritten card business, even selling ag test equipment to farmers. With crazy success. It’s even better than the break up email I stole from hubspot!

What is this 9 word email? Well, if I was following up with a fractional CMO lead that went ghost on me, I would send this email.

Subject: Hey Prospect Name

Prospect Name,

Are you still interested in getting your marketing going?

Nick Berry

For a homeowners quote that went silent I would use something like this:

  • Are you still interested in homeowner’s insurance coverage?
  • Do you still need a quote for homeowner’s insurance?
  • Are you looking for better homeowner’s insurance rates?
  • Is securing homeowner’s insurance still a priority for you?
  • Have you found the homeowner’s insurance you need yet?
  • Are you still searching for affordable homeowner’s insurance?
  • Would you like to revisit homeowner’s insurance options?
  • Can we discuss your homeowner’s insurance needs this week?

Now what if you’re dealing with worker’s comp insurance leads that went cold?

  • Are you still interested in workers’ compensation insurance coverage?
  • Do you still need a quote for workers’ comp insurance?
  • Are you looking for better workers’ compensation insurance rates?
  • Is securing workers’ comp insurance still a priority for you?
  • Have you found the workers’ comp insurance you need yet?
  • Are you still searching for affordable workers’ comp insurance?
  • Would you like to revisit workers’ comp insurance options?
  • Can we discuss your workers’ comp insurance needs this week?

As you can see this is very formulaic! You can make a few variations, and have them saved in gmail as templates and just swap out the thing you’re following up on.

What are you waiting for? Get out there and send some emails!

I’ll even throw in a bonus, you send me a screenshot that you sent this email to 25 prospects next week I’ll give you a free 30 minute marketing jam session with me!
